REQUIREMENTS:
- UNIX Web servers only! This will not work on Windows. Sorry, but we really like Unix. Seriously.
- Your server must have "Sed" support, please ask your hosting provider to confirm or install this for you. For more info: http://www.google.com/search?q=unix+sed
STEP #1) Create writeable directory outside of publicly accessible forum root directory called "autocomplete"
Example: /var/www/autocomplete
STEP #2) Configure writeable directory path in PHP files. To do this, open AUTOCOMPLETE.PHP and /includes/cron/AUTOCOMPLETE-GENERATE.PHP files and FIND & REPLACE:
FIND:
/some/directory/outside/public_html/autocomplete/
REPLACE:
Path of directory you configured in STEP #1
Example: /var/www/autocomplete
SAVE FILE
STEP #3) Upload all files in their correct directories into FORUM ROOT folder
Example: /forum/
STEP #4) Go to ADMINCP > SCHEDULED TASK MANAGER > ADD NEW SCHEDULED TASK and configure the cron job that rebuilds thread index file.
Example: See INSTRUCTIONS-CRON.gif screenshot and replicate the settings exactly
SAVE THIS SCHEDULED TASK
STEP #5) Run scheduled task to build thread index file; click RUN NOW on newly created "Refreshes autocomplete data" scheduled task.
Notice: This can take a long time! Do not exit!
STEP #6) TEMPLATE EDITS, Go to ADMINCP > STYLE MANAGER ################################################## ################################################## #########

To install....
1. Upload all of the files in the "upload" folder
2. Open the product-dlc.xml in Notepad or Wordpad.
3. Place your forum username in every username="" tag you see.
4. After that you can import the product.
5. Setting up a cron to make it run automatically. Set up the cron here. admincp>scheduled tasks>add new scheduled task

Description: Checks for dead links and adds them to graveyard

Standard Flashchat includes vBulletin integration as part of the Tufat supplied files. However, the standard integration does not include Direct Usergroup Integration or other extra's like the WOL Display & Flashchat on a vBulletin page. This Modification adds those features
Extra's added by this modification
* Direct login to a room.
* The WOL will correctly display Flashchat as the location (not 'Unknown Location')
* Flashchat can be displayed embedded inside a 'standard' vBulletin Page (i.e. not full screen).
* Direct Usergroup Integration - a section is added to each usergroup in the ACP Usergroup Manager to set the Flashchat permissions for that group.
* The plugin will try to automatically add a link to Flashchat in your Navbar Quick Links or Community Links - this feature can be disabled if you wish.
* The automatic link can have a prefix path defined - useful if you use something like CMPS.
* You can define a usergroup to login as Flashchats "Spy" mode.
More notes:
* This integration is for Flashchat version 5 only.
* The automatic link feature may fail if you have customised templates (it uses template hooks).
* For Flashchat inside a vBulletin page you need to link to .../misc.php?do=flashchat
* This modification does not add any links to Flashchat Administration in the ACP.
* You can set all members to login direct to particular room via the ACP.
* You can also add a room parameter to the url - i.e. .../misc.php?do=flashchat&room=3
* Spys can login into the chat but are not listed in the room - they cannot chat, just watch.

The box also tells the user to search through the similar threads first BEFORE starting a new one.

- hover over the title and it gives a little preview of the thread's content

- you can turn it off for certain forums or
